Wise masters are a type of character featured in several comics, who sit with folded legs in a hut or small building atop a mountain. The wise masters and their residences all have different appearances, but they share many traits in common, such as having a robe, long grey hair, and a beard. A few comics break the general trend, such as Conscious, which features a wise master outside in a field instead of inside a hut.
