Explanation[edit]

It is a core part of Christian belief that Jesus (God the Son) is a physical incarnation of God the Father. It is also a core belief that God knows everything everywhere all at once (omniscience), as the man explains. Thus what happened when God "instantiated himself in a limited human body" was Jesus, whose life did not "go just great down there" under most metrics, as he was nailed to a cross and left to die for 6 hours. While most Christians would claim that Jesus's death was suicide blood magic planned by God (himself) all along to forgive everyone's sins, and thus a good thing, SMBC is known among other things for its unorthodox theology, and the death of Jesus is implied to have been a negative outcome to God, who just wanted to understand how it felt to be one of his creations.

The votey refers to Jesus being resurrected after 3 days (dying on a friday and being raised on a sunday) and going to Heaven.
