Explanation[edit]
Most religions attempt to teach morality to their members, but as it turns out, God orders the man to wait for the answer to a question of morality for so long (possibly to avoid having to give an answer), that the man decides to give up and ask about something else. God's answers are very reminiscent of automatic phonecall responses.

- [Panel 1. A man is kneeling and praying.]
- Man: "Dear God..."
- [Panel 2. The man is still praying. God speaks off-screen.]
- Man: "Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do-"
- God: "Hello, you've reached God."
- [Panel 3. The man's silhouette.]
- God: "To help us direct your prayer, please say one for questions of morality. Say two for metaphysics. Say three for existential meaning questions. Or, interrupt at any time to cause the prayer to be ignored.
- [Panel 4. The man looks confused and aware of his insignificance.]
- Man: "Uh... one. One, please."
- [Panel 5. The man is afraid and shouting.]
- God: "Please hold until your body inevitably disintegrates into its molecular constituents."
- Man: "Three! Three!"
