Death or the Grim Reaper is a supernatural entity who kills people and takes their souls. He takes pride in his work, and is always looking for more efficient ways to reap souls, while also seeing the solemnity of it. Since everything in the universe is constantly approaching death, he says the whole universe is geared towards his favorite thing. When he cannot take a whole life, he'll take a piece of someone, like a belief, to the Land of Shadows. He hates the Land of Shadows, as the River of Forgetfulness affects him just as much as mortals.
Though he sometimes takes people to the Land of Shadows, he also takes them to Heaven.
