Occasionally some workplaces host an "ugly sweater" contest, where the goal is to find the tackiest possible Christmas-themed sweater shirt from one's closet and wear it. As the swastika has fallen victim to being associated with the ideology of national socialism in most western countries, even though this man is wearing a shirt with well-contrasting colors and a geometrically interesting shape, his shirt conveys a very ugly sentiment, or implies that anyone wearing it outside an ugly sweater contest would wish to convey said sentiment.

The caption implies that if the man's shirt doesn't win the contest, the judges don't consider Nazism uglier than other, harmlessly ugly sweater shirts, which would then imply that the judges are supportive of Nazism. In fact, the man's shirt is likely ''too'' ugly for the contest.

The title text and votey contradict each other, as someone cannot be fired from a business which isn't emplyoing them, unless the man's incident at a completely different business's workplace has been heard of by his real employers.

This comic is a redone version of [[Ugly]].

Explanation

In fact, the man's shirt is likely too ugly for the contest.

The title text and votey contradict each other, as someone cannot be fired from a business which isn't emplyoing them, unless the man's incident at a completely different business's workplace has been heard of by his real employers.

This comic is a redone version of Ugly.
