The historic Apollo 11 moon landing had three astronauts: Neil Armstrong, who was first to step on the Moon's surface; Buzz Aldrin, who stepped on the surface 19 minutes later, and Michael Collins, who remained in the Command Module *Columbia* orbiting the Moon.

In the comic, the boy reveals that his brothers were named after Armstrong and Aldrin, with the order of their births being the order of stepping on the Moon. This sets up the expectation that the boy himself is named Michael Collins, but the boy asks why he was not named after him.
