Can't create new articles

Hey, I'm trying to create a new character page for Phil Plait, and when I go to hit submit, I'm presented with a double captcha. Providing the correct answers to both captchas and hitting submit just presents me with two new captchas, thus preventing me from actually creating the page.

Note: I can edit existing pages just fine.

If it helps: I'm logged in as myself (User:OpenBagTwo). I've also made pages in the past

That's strange, I did change the captcha recently, but I don't see any reason why it would be giving two. What are the two captchas you get? When I try creating a page logged out I only see the new one. Smbcwiki-admin (talk) 14:18, 26 July 2024 (EDT)

It's the same prompt—I just get one above the edit box and one below, right above "save changes." The captcha above the edit box only appears after hitting "Save changes" the first time ~OpenBagTwo

No edit permissions

I tried to edit the transcription for a comic and got 403: Forbidden on hitting submit. I understand there's a wave of spambots, but is there a rail-replacement bus to editorhood? ~Bean

Hi! I created a shortcut for adding character categories which works like this: {{features|Zach Weinersmith}}, or {{ftr|Zach Weinersmith}}, or {{ftr|Zach Weinersmith|Clowns|the snow kids}}
