==Explanation== incomplete Maternal insults have become very well-known in the early 21st century. They tend to be absurd and exaggerated, and the most typical format, as seen in this comic, is: "Yo mama so X, that Y". This comic features the possible "yo mama" jokes devised by professionals. (The word "doctor" in the chart most likely refers to a doctor of medicine.) {| class="wikitable" |+ Explanations | ! Scientist !! Economist !! Doctor |- ! Ugly | Fluorine is a highly reactive chemical element which easily bonds and forms molecules with almost all other elements. In the joke, the verb "bond" means forming, instead of a molecule, an intimate relationship. The possibility of such a relationship forming is inversely proportional with ugliness. | | An optometrist is a healthcare professional specializing in the eyes. In this case, yo mama's friends don't notice her ugliness and still remain her friends, so they should get eyeglasses or contact lenses to help them see better. On the other hand, judging whether someone can be a friend based on physical appearance is quite shallow. |- ! Stupid | Blackbody radiation refers to the thermal radiation of a theoretical object ("blackbody") which reflects no light whatsoever and only loses heat due to radiation. Yo mama is confusing this concept with the first modern humans (who had black-skinned bodies) who migrated out of Africa into the rest of the world. | | Mastalgia means pain of the breasts, and nostalgia means reminiscing about the past. The words sound similar, and are both formed with the Greek word álgos (pain), but mastalgia contains the word mastós (breast) and nostalgia contains the word nóstos (returning home). |- ! Fat | | | This is a depressing twist ending to the comic. In a bypass surgery, a tube-shaped body part is rerouted somewhere else. Often this refers to heart bypass surgeries, which may be necessary for severy obese ("fat") people. |}
