==Explanation== Tampering with candy given by adults to children on Halloween is a famous urban legend with hardly any basis in reality. Harmful things reported to have been added into candy include dangerous objects like razor blades. The implication of this comic is that either Zach Weinersmith has really thought that a candy apple is a good container for a razor blade and the boy forgot about it before biting the apple, or that Zach sadistically hid the blade in the candy apple to cause dangerous oral lacerations to the boy. Either way, the comic furthermore implies that this has gotten Zach into legal trouble, and as he lives in the USA with a common law system and juries, he had made this comic which puts his actions into a positive light, so that anyone selected for jury duty in a possible court case where Zach could be deemed guilty of a crime would likely have a good impression of Zach due to having seen the comic.
